Medication Drop Box to be placed outside Waterford Town Police Department | Health

The Waterford Town Police Department has announced their Medication Drop Box that will be at the police department. The box will be open to members of the community only and it is not open to pharmacies, veterinarians, pharmaceutical businesses or any entity other than a private household.

Loose medication should be placed in zip lock bags and then deposited. Any liquid medications should be enclosed in leak proof containers before they are dropped off. Once the medication is collected, it will be disposed of according to state and federal laws.

The Drop Box will be open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. only. Residents are asked to call the police department at 518-237-2241 if they have any questions.
