MECHANICVILLE - An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday for Taylor Mosher, killed in a car crash Tuesday night.
The 19-year-old collided head on with a car driven by 45-year-old Thomas Czaban of Scotia. A memorial was set up near the spot where she crashed, on Route 146 near Pruyn Hill Road.
Investigators are trying to find out why Mosher crossed into the other lane. Czaban is in fair condition at Albany Medical Center.
Mosher was a graduate of Mechanicville High School, and a student at Hudson Valley Community College.
“She was a standout because she was always smiling, she had a magnetic personality she would light up the room when she was here with her family. So she's going to be missed,” said Pat Hildreth.
Calling hours and a funeral service for Mosher will be on Saturday at All Saints on the Hudson South Church, in Mechancville.
