NTSB says investigation may take a year
CLIFTON PARK - The surviving pilot from a small plane crash in Clifton Park this week remains in critical condition.
NTSB investigators loaded pieces of the plane on flatbeds last night to move them to a hanger in Connecticut for further investigation.
They say it may take a year to determine the cause.
NewsChannel 13 has learned that the plane was in for maintenance work the day before the crash.
One person died.
The NTSB says both men were certified pilots and the plane had dual controls, so the probe will include both their roles during the flight.
